Trinity Church offers several convenient giving methods. Please consider taking advantage of one of these giving options as you continue to contribute to the ministries of Trinity Church.
For your convenience, offering envelopes are available for all recurring donations. You can stop by the Guest Desk in the lobby to fill out a request form for envelopes. You may also place cash or checks (payable to Trinity E C Church) in the offering plate during any of the weekend services, or mail it to Trinity Church.
Trinity Church also offers online giving for our friends and members.
You will simplify your life. You won’t have to remember whether you gave this month, or need to send in an offering by mail when you’re on a trip. You can set up a one-time or recurring gift, or designate your gift to the general fund or missions. By setting up recurring giving you are taking a step of faith. When you sign up to give this way you are deciding in advance to faithfully give. God always blesses that kind of faith!
You will be helping the church. Every person who gives through recurring donations makes our record keeping much easier, and our source of finances more consistent. While this can have advantages, we want each person who chooses this option to make sure they are giving in a spirit that is pleasing to the Lord.
While there are several ways to give electronically (including debit cards, credit cards, and echecks), we strongly discourage the use of credit cards. Proverbs 22:7 says ” . . . the borrower is servant to the lender”, and credit cards can cause many people to struggle financially. We do not wish for anyone to fall into debt by giving through credit cards. However, since we cannot distinguish online whether a card is being used for debit or credit, the use of both is permitted. We simply encourage you to choose the most responsible giving option for you.
It is a Christian’s duty and privilege to give back to the Lord what is His by giving to the church and others. Thank you for your faithfulness and may God bless you.
